When

The National Leadership & Skills Conference takes place June 21–25, 2027,
with Immersive Experience programming running June 22, through June 24.
Participants are expected to attend the full conference, June 21–25.

What students can expect:

• Activities may include industry site tours, employer workshops, panels with industry professionals, and opportunities to earn industry-recognized credentials.

• Students can see jobs up close, ask questions of people working in the field, and connect with potential employers and fellow SkillsUSA members.

Which students are eligible?

• High school and college/postsecondary SkillsUSA members enrolled in a related construction, transportation, or manufacturing training program may participate.

• Students can NOT be registered as NLSC competitors or conference delegates.

• Space is limited to 100 students per experience.

How do advisors register students?

• Register eligible students for their chosen Immersive Experience when your state’s NLSC registration opens.

• There is no application to complete to be eligible for participation.

• Contact your state director for registration procedures and availability.

What should chapters plan to pay?

• Registration, hotel, and transportation costs vary by state. Chapters are responsible for registration and hotel costs. Check with your state director as you plan.
