Immersive Experience: Construction is a three-day, hands-on workforce development program at the 2026 SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference that allows students to experience the job before they get the job through authentic, industry-led learning.
Students can apply for the Bosch Community Fund Travel Grant to cover expenses. Details are below!

Cost varies by state, and you should check with your state director regarding registration, hotel, and transportation costs.
Chapters are responsible for all registration and hotel costs associated with the event.

Yes! Once a student is registered, their spot is secured.

Travel Grant funds may be used to help cover transportation, registration, and hotel costs. Once awarded, funds will be sent to the chapter via ACH.

Students should complete the Travel Grant application themselves.

There is no limit to the number of students who may attend from one school. There are only 100 total spots available for the event, so early registration is strongly encouraged.

The following meals will be provided for student members. Advisors/chaperones must cover their own meals.

Students should dress in casual to business casual attire. A polo shirt tucked into jeans is a great example of appropriate attire. Throughout the event, students will interact with business and industry professionals, so we want everyone to present themselves in a polished and professional way.
The following items are not appropriate for the event:
Graphic T-shirts or shirts with large logos, slogans, or graphics
Ripped, distressed, frayed, or overly faded jeans
Hoodies or sweatshirts
Athletic wear, including leggings, joggers, sweatpants, gym shorts, or track pants
Tank tops, spaghetti straps, or crop tops
Baseball caps, beanies, or casual hats worn indoors
Overly baggy clothing
Open-toed shoes
